(no subject)

* There is something weirdly intimidating about seeing 2025 calendars and planners for sale. It's like, time has been broken for years... 22, 23, 24... no big deal. But something about 2025 just feels so solid. It's like, how did it get to be so late? I am not ready for 2025 to just be months away.

It feels like I accidentally slept through a class for a year and suddenly it's finals time.

* I don't think I'd been into a Bath & Bodyworks since last century, but for some reason I went this week:



One Eddie's Leather Jacket to actually burn and one to keep. I also got an Upside Down because I actually like the smell of that a bit. Also, it rounds out the collection visually. The Eddie candle doesn't smell like much of anything, but I'd ordered them online to hold in store where they were in stock on launch day to make sure I got some, so I wasn't able to sniff it yet. Still, no regrets.

I also got an Upside Down because I actually like the smell of that a bit.

What does it smell like? It feels like a very hard scent to pin down...

It's a foggy sort of scent, and when I sniffed it at home I realized it was surprisingly sweet. Everything from there smells sweet so I didn't realize as much there, but it still rounds out the collection nicely. I doubt that is what the Upside Down actually smells like.

I didn't know Bath and Body Works had Stranger Things stuff! I don't think I've been in one since college (when it was one of like, three stores open in the local mall).

Oh good, I'm not the only one with that feeling about the proximity of 2025. How are we a quarter of the way through this century? Feels broken, man.

They started out with things like Eleven's Pancakes and Steve's Scoops, the typically super sugary stuff you'd expect. When I saw Eddie's Leather Jacket I just had to have it, even if the candle itself is meh.

25 just feels so solid. It's stressful. Also glad it's not just me

It's a shame the candle is kind of meh, but I'm also glad you got two of them, so that one can stay pristine. At least it's a cool container!

25 is a big number. Very solid and very imposing.

Absolutely! Even if the scent isn't astounding, it EXISTS, and that's pretty great.
