Based on the trailer alone, I know this will be my favorite film of this year:
The concept, how well these two work together... this looks amazing!
Sadly, it's on AppleTV and I recently spent a frustrating afternoon trying to cancel a sub to them I didn't know I had. I wound up needing to ban them from being able to charge my paypal account. Weirdly, I've wanted AppleTV but had been putting off having a sub through a phone app. I don't know how I got the sub, but the app has been on my phone ever since my iphone updated that one time and... I just don't know. I'd like to think Apple didn't just pull some BS. But if/when I get AppleTV it will be on my computer, not my phone. I don't want to watch TV on my phone.

Date: 2024-05-30 12:08 am (UTC)From:The reason I don't go to movies is mostly due to being poor (for the most part I rely on free and cheap streaming services for my watching) and having anxiety issues with being out in public. I make exceptions for special things I really want to see.

We have some cool second run and art movie theaters, but the standard first one places are all terribly managed. The spendy living room style ones are also bad because people feel entitled to be drunk or be on bright tablets.
My kingdom for one of those Texas Roadhouse style theaters.
