From the land where the risk of forest fire signs point to 'moderate'.
And I came back to rain, flooded sidewalks and... risk of severe thunderstorms tonight? Amazing. Sadly, I have no beer in the house and I am not going back outside today. I am going to sort my photos and post a sort of travelogue, hopefully starting tomorrow.
Being offline for a few days was good. I really need a full week off like I used to do every year.
One thing I didn't post about before I left is that I am trying to get back into making button designs. I made myself some Harris Walz buttons and some saying 'We're NOT going back'. My lettering/inking sucks, but I am working on it.
Anyway, I really wanted to make an I Saw The TV Glow set and I found some half finished d20 pride flag ones. I want to make some more that are just little pride flag watercolors, no inking or shapes, and also figure out good color matches for a few more flags.
Messy, but hopefully I can get them a bit better:
I used silver watercolor for the static on the 'there is still time ones'. Maybe messy, but they fit the vibe of what I was going for.
I also need to make new digital/printable designs so I can have some that are... less home-made looking. I have some ideas, but it's been so long since I printed button designs I think I've forgotten how to make sure they print the right size.
